Tribute album commemorating the 20th anniversary of Ed Starinks official website and the 5th anniversary of SG Radio.
The album contains a total of 12 tracks, including 11 covers of Ed Starinks own compositions produced by fans and friends of Ed Starink ("The Friends of Mr Starink") and one track recorded by Ed Starink himself especially on occassion for this album, which he already wrote composed in 1981.
The CD mastering was done by Michel Geiss, the former longtime "Artistic Collaborator" of the French pioneer of electronic music Jean Michel Jarre.
The cover artwork was created by Dutch artist Bertjan van Eijsden, who created most of the cover artwork for Arcades successful "Synthesizer Greatest" series back in the late 80s and into the 90s.
The album comes along with a 16-page booklet with detailed and personal liner notes from the artists involved.
Limited to 500 copies.
"The Friends of Mr Starink" are not a real band, but a loose association of solo musicians who decided to record and release a tribute album back in 2021. The participating musicians come from France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
