"Warriors Berserker Vikings" is Drankjans first professionally recorded song in a recording studio. In addition to this Viking Metal song with bilingual vocals, there are two more bonus tracks in home recording demo quality from 2019 on the CD.
In 2018 founded Elias and Dominic an unnamed band in the city of Ulm. Julian and Sascha joined 2019.
Elias and Dominic play the guitars and sing the back vocals. Julian plays the drums. Sascha play bass and takes over the lead vocals. A well harmonizing band with a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of joy in playing was formed.
During the "orientation phase" the style sometimes changed between the songs.
From rock elements to different styles of metal. The instrument tuning moved from "D" to "C" and even deeper. The (main) singing language is English. But German has also found its way into songs. The band is open to further variations and does not set any musical or linguistic limits.
Although the old Germanic word "Drankjan" stands for "to be drunk", the four approach their music professionally. The first songs were recorded through home recording in autumn 2019, some of the songs were published on Soundcloud and Youtube.
The song "Warriors Berserker Vikings" was recorded in a recording studio in autumn 2020, which was released on CD in winter 2020 and also on streaming platforms. During the recording process, experiences were gained that they could incorporate directly into the song. These experiences are also an enrichment for live performances and Drankjan developed a little further.
